Suar, Uttar Pradesh

Share

Being a municipal board of the Rampur district, the city of Suar, I mean, the city Suar is more famous for its epithet. It’s funny how the state’s current CM Yogi Adityanath, who is famous for giving new names to cities, hasn’t paid any attention to this one. Also, it’s somewhat poetic that Azam Khan is the MLA of the town. *ok bye*

Lailunga, Chhattisgarh

Many must be thinking that it is something related to Sardar Khan but no! chill. It is actually the name of a sub-division of Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. We hope there is no neighbouring district named KehKe near it. If there’s one, then it’s indeed threatening not gonna lie.

Sasura, Maharashtra

Sasura is located near the bid district of Maharashtra. The Sasura district is one of the rare things in Maharashtra which has an essence of Bihar. Wonder what were the Shiv Sena workers doing when this city was named. *runs*

Kutta, Karnataka.

Karnataka gave India Rahul Dravid. I think Royal Challengers Bangalore and this town Kutta have also been given by the state only to cover up for Dravid’s greatness and maintain the equilibrium.

Kala Bakra, Punjab

India is a country where cows are more respected than other animals (even humans). Racism on the basis of skin colour is also very much evident. Despite all these, a city being named after a Black Goat is definitely something the goat community (including Messi and not Ronaldo obviously) will love. And now that Black goats are also getting some respect in India, we hope one day people start respecting blackbucks as well. *drops mic*
