In the 80s and 90s, actresses could not get along with each other and they used to have nasty catfights. There were many news of actresses having catfights with each other back then. But one such was very much talk of the town. The catfight between Raveena Tandon and Karisma Kapoor. They worked together in the movie ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ but didn’t talk to each other on the sets. Choreographer turned filmmaker, Farah Khan opened up on their fight on the show ‘Koffee With Karan’.

She recalled an incident and said, “I was once doing a song with Karisma Kapoor and Raveena Tandon, long ago, in a film called ‘Aatish’. They were both having some kind of teenage spat. They were hitting each other with their wigs.” She further said, “They were wearing these wigs with plaits and beads in it. One was hitting, the other was stamping her foot with her heel. It was quite childish. I am sure they will laugh about it now.”

Earlier, during an interview with IANS, Raveena revealed how ‘Andaz Apna Apna’ director Rajkumar Santoshi, didn’t let them go unless they talked to each other while shooting the climax scene of the movie. She said, “The boys (Salman Khan and Aamir Khan) tried to bring Karisma and me together. In fact, in the climax, there’s a scene where Karishma and I are tied to a pillar. Rajji said, ‘We won’t untie you unless you talk to one another.’”

In an interview with HT in the year 2012, Raveena said that she and Karisma share a good bond, “Since our girls go to the same school, we end up bumping into each other and have bonded well. It’s easier to hang out and discuss our kids,” said the actress.
