6 Bollywood remixes that killed their originals

Music is art, and it gets personal as much as we listen to it. Picking something old and giving it a fresh look is something Bollywood has normalised over the years. But, sometimes they forget old wine in a new bottle doesn’t make it new. Well, here are some remake failures we have seen in recent years, that were so bad, that we had to write this article to mention them…

1. Masakali 2.0 (Marjaavan)

This song by A R Rehman and voice by Mohit chahuhan in original which was recently released by the production house. They tried to make it a sensual one which was really bad attempt that, even Rehman sir, tweeted the original one to make it a point.

Dus Bahane 2.0 (Baaghi 3)

Vishal Dadlani was so angry at the remix that he tweeted, “Warning: I WILL sue anyone making remixes of Vishal & Shekhar songs. I’ll even move court against the films & musicians. After Saaki Saaki, I hear upcoming bastardisations include Dus Bahaane, Deedaar De, Sajnaji Vaari Vaari, Desi Girl & more. Make your own songs, vultures!”

Akhiyon Se Goli Maare (Pati Patni Aur Woh)

Akhiyon Se Goli Maare was memorable for the hilarity that ensued between Govinda and Raveena Tandon.

4. Yeh Jawaani (Student of the Year 2)

5. Ek Do Teen (Baaghi 2)

6. Maine Tujhko Dekha (Golmaal Again)
