As Government has eased the lockdown, liquor stores opened up in the cities. Taking to her Instagram account, Malaika Arora has sort of blasted the move of the Government and questioned what was the need of opening the liquor stores amidst the lockdown.

Sharing the news of liquor stores shutting all over after opening for a brief amount of time, Malaika wrote, “I still don’t get Wat was the need or desperation or nessecity to open liquor shops!!!!! Bad bad idea. Only gonna create more chaos, domestic abuse, child abuse(sic).” Earlier it was Sophie Choudary who shared her thoughts on the same and tweeted, “Cannot believe the line for the #LiquorShop coming all the way around the corner! Groups coming on bikes, no social distancing like I’ve seen at other stores..I mean was this really necessary? I’m all for boosting the economy..but this?! Plus increased risk of domestic violence.

While not just bollywood celebrities, many netizens too are sharing their anger over the chaos created by the opening of the liquor stores in the country. #LiquorShops is trending on number one on Twitter with many sharing videos of people breaking the social distancing norms while queuing up outside the stores.

Talking about Malaika, she is under self-quarantine with boyfriend Arjun Kapoor.
